Marvelous Marvin

'Marvelous' Marvin Hagler, one of the great fighters in the history of boxing, has died at age 66.

His fight with Hearns in 1985 is one of the greatest 3 rounds of boxing ever, especially that first round.

He retired with a record of 62-3-2 (52 KO) after his extremely controversial loss to Sugar Ray Leonard in 1987.

RIP Champ

I had no idea he was ill either. One of my very favourite fighters in boxing history. Weirdly I was watching a few of his fights on YouTube this week. His knockout of Tommy Hearns was epic, he almost Superman punches him with both feet off the ground.

RIP big guy
