Inaugural Super League Champions

Roll up, roll up ladies and gentlemen and place your bets now.

Who will be the inaugural winners of the European super league (still feels weird typing or saying that).

I reckon Man City

I'm not interested in the CL when the top 20 clubs are not participating in it.

Probably Arsenal will be the first winners.

We have a habit of breaking new ground. Arsenal were the first team to play a game broadcast live on radio, to play a live televised game, and to wear shirt numbers.

Arsenal and Spurs will occupy the bottom spots and do nothing, while Leicester will eventually end up winning a CL.

That's what strikes me as strange. Surely arsenal and spurs have more to gain by staying in the CL, and actually have a chance of doing well in it.

I'm more interested in who will win the CL if them clubs leave. Seems like PSG and Munich will be final certs

This would be true if our owners were motivated by winning trophies rather than making more money. It only tells you how much Levy/ENIC cares about on pitch success. Same applies to Arsenal.

Does.it matter? Honestly, lose all 18 games and still not get relegated and loads of money

But it isn't the top 20. AC Milan and Arsenal weren't in the CL and no PSG or Munich/Dortmund... plenty of giants not in the current set up, as we know it.

The integrity of the super league has been dumped on before its even started cos it's clearly all about greed. U can't have the best comp without the best teams and neither the CL or superleague will have all the best teams exclusively.

Europeans are taking this as an American act of vandalism to our great game in the pursuit of riches. Can't see it happening tbh even with the club's threatening legal action already.

Excluding clubs or players from comps it seems will undermine the funding in place for the superleague so it's definitely going to be interesting how this plays out.
