As long as Man Utd don't self-destruct it is up to you guys to complete the clean-sweep tonight for English clubs in Europe this season. Just a 1-0 win is enough and there were times in the past when it seemed that was the scoreline you aimed for every game.
Seriously, I wish you good luck tonight, as I have done for Chelsea and Man City in the CL this week.
Hopefully see you in the final in Outer Mongolia or wherever the Unbelievable European Football Accountants decide. Do it tonight and Football HAS come home! (Or to Outer Mongolia).
This is not a xenophobic post - for "Outer Mongolia" please feel free to replace with any other distant country that you don't know very much about.

Just imagine if either of these finals had been allocated to Glasgow !

????
They know about football in Glasgow, policing-wise.
If I was a travelling fan I would rather go to Glasgow than Istanbul. I have been to Istanbul on non-football related work. They have an impressive bridge and good kebabs and ....nothing else!

But Doc, please can you tell me what Glasgow offers an English team and its supporters, that betters what Istanbul can offer ,apart from its proximity of course.
I think that Istanbul is a wonderful city one of the most iconic cities in the world .

Perhaps I am being unfair. Last time I was there was in 1984 I think. Like most places once you get past the "facade" they present there is a side that they prefer to ignore. Many tourists never get to see the other (real?) side of countries and cities they visit, which can be very different to the resort areas. It happens in most countries.
