Euros Prediction League - Round 5

After the Lord Mayor's Show. True, there were some surprising results this week, none more so than the Netherlands v Czech Republic; so much so that only one of us scored any points (3) with four double point entries going down the tubes. In fact, 10 of the 17 double pointers scored 0 and the best that any of us got was 6. Mrs OWF almost managed a complete white out until scoring 9 on the last match. She still didn't come bottom of the pile even then!

The top 4 have established a bit of a gap but there really is very little between 5th and 15th. Final bonuses for Golden Boot and eventual winner is likely to be decisive.

Double points still available - it might be best to nominate one of the quarter final matches rather than trust to luck as to which teams make up the semis and the final. Although, based on our collective performance re selecting double-pointers in the last round, we'd probably be just as well sticking a pin in.

Double points are still available to Appleton and Yankari, who have yet to submit predictions for this round.
