Best Test XI - 1980's

I started watching Cricket in the early 80's so thought I'd pick a best test XI from each decade from then on.
The Windies of course dominated this era, with the likes of Richards, Marshall and Garner causing carnage wherever they went.
There were plenty of brilliant batsmen on show, from the likes of Miandad to Crowe, Gower and Border.
Plenty of excellent and great pacemen too but finding a great spinner was difficult, so l have Richards and Border offering some variation. Qadir would have been the obvious choice but I hardly saw him play, hence his absence.
The 80's was also the decade of the all-rounders. Imran, Dev, Beefy and Hadlee, though the latter was imo more of a bowler who could bat a bit.

Anyway here's my XI

Greenidge
Gavasker
Gower
Richards
Miandad
Border
Imran
Dujon
Marshall
Hadlee
Garner

Border will captain my side. Viv had a better record but of course a better team, whilst Border dragged his team from useless to very useful in 2-3 years.

Kind of nailed it there. Maybe Desmond Haynes but who for?

No spin there but 80s wasn't a great era for spin bowling. Only person I can think of is Qadir but his record is nothing compared to the quicks.

Haynes for Gavaskar maybe?
Gavaskar was the better player though, even if the 70's may have been his peak?
