Just going through our lineup in the test, it really is woeful.
1. Hameed-struggles at county level where he only averages 30
2. Crawley-see Hameed
3. Malan- Has shown some fight this tour, but not a test level player
4. Root-World class
5-Stokes-Doesn't look himself. Not sure he's over his mental and physical issues
6. Bairstow-Consistently shown he's not a test level player
7. Buttler-See Bairstow
8. Wood. A number 10
9. Robinson-Barely scored a run in tests
10. Leach-Bunny
11. Jimmy-Bunny
Quite a shambolic bunch. Openers that struggle at county level, a white ball specialist middle order and four bowlers who can barely hold a bat.
Chris Woakes is our third highest run scorer this series and he's only played 2 marches. I don't really see any hopes for this team in the next few years. Once Jimmy and Broad retire we'll get thrashed in home series as well as away.

Theres not much motivation for country cricket players. when you get paid pittence for 4 day cricket and huge money for 20/20. you can see where their loyalties lay..
I only care about test cricket. anyone can smash 50 and a win a 20/20 match. Having to face the new ball on the first morning of a testmatch is where the real stand up and be counted comes in.

Bunch of failures and then Woakes comes out and backs Root.. "pleaseeeee joeyyy look at me im being nicey nicey here to protect my place." by saying you will keep the captaincy i will play at Sydeny. Look Woakes your away record has a bowler is pathetically bad an you should never play again. simple
