Even when he is on the side-lines he looks like he cares more than anyone on the pitch

Such a great player. Yesterday was exactly the type of match you could forgive him struggling in, all action all the time but still at 37 y/o kept pace & was the calmest guy on the field for both teams.

I actually can't believe I had tiny doubts about signing him just cos of his age. Class is permanent & he oozes it.

Its great news even though i would not be surprised if he finds next season too much for him.

I don't care though.

I was lucky enough to see him in the flesh at Spurs and West Ham this season and the performance he gave at Spurs was world class and a privilage to witness.
