Morecambe v Bolton Wanderers

Oh I do like to be beside the seaside, well maybe not in February on a cold wet and windy day but here we are and a trip to the globe arena(sponsored the Mazuma stadium)and the 3rd ever league meeting between the 2 clubs. Who can forget that epic meeting last season where a first half goal by Ben Jackson won the game 1-0 for the whites effectively winning promotion that day watched on a tiny tablet screen some 40 odd miles away with WiFi issues causing missing the last 10 minutes of the first half Thankfully fans are back in the grounds now and some 1700 Bolton fans making the trip today. Not my first visit as Bolton won 2-0 in a pre season friendly in 2012. Bolton on a run of 4 straight wins with no goals conceded are in form, Morecambe promoted with us last season have just 1 win in 5 and are in the relegation zone. Here's hoping there won't be a repeat of the last trip to the seaside to a relegation haunted side in a small stadium. Team news. Lee is back after sitting out Tuesday, Amaechi is finally available and Dempsey is cleared to make his debut. A lot of choice for evatt now and good options off the bench. Hoping for a 5th straight win for the whites.

Hopefully those found guilty will be banned from attending any further games and it will set an example for the other idiots that were involved.

2000 season tickets for next season sold already.

Club now waiting on appeal decision on the Santos red card.

I can't see that the decision on Santos won't be overturned. The evidence is there and to me is looks conclusive. Hopefully Satos will be on the pitch tomorrow evening and playing.

Be after lunch before we get a Santos verdict, those A to K's took a bit of their lunch time up yesterday at the EFL.

Now that we have options off the bench and Baka's late equaliser what is the chance of a change up-front?

The conditions on Saturday didn't suit Dapo and Dion. so is there a possibility that one of them or both might start on the bench?

Personally, I think that it will depend on the conditions. Baka has now scored seven and looks to be in form, so should he be partnered with Charles with Dapo tucked in behind them? Or would you drop Dapo to the bench in favour of Dempsey?

I would like to hear your views on the forward line-up. We certainly have options now so it's going to be interesting.

I'm with you but I won't be surprised if Evatt decides to mix it.

I asked the question because he continually mentions 1. We now have options 2. We have eight games this month and the squad now gives him room to rest players.

Personally, I don't think he should put our best players on the bench to start, but do we really know what our best starting 11 is going to be? Perhaps it's a little early to decide that right now with all the new players arriving.

It would seem that he's come good once again in the January window.

Thought I would link this as he has filmed a lot of the stuff that went on plus good footage of the goal.

Fun stat fact fans.

Santos winning his appeal against his red card is the 4th successive red card appeal we have won.

Before that we went 10 years without one.
