Who is/was the best manager of the 2000s?

Sadly, it has to be SAF

I think SAF last century because of treble, though the PL/CL double was class as well in ‘08.
This century it’s Pep. Not only did he create the best side in the history, he also did it in a fashion we’ve not seen. Plus dominating every country he’s been too. Not winning CL since leaving Barca leaves him open to a debate but once he wins CL with City I think that debate is over.

Best Manager = SAF
Best Coach = Pep

Mourinho. All of his best years came in this decade. Won more titles, Champions Leagues and overall silverware than anyone else at 3 different clubs. Objectively you have to say him.

If we're talking about this century then it's Pep.

People talk about Carlo being overlooked but why does Del Bosque’s name never come up?!
He won the World Cup, Euros, 2 La Ligas & 2 UCLs.
I might say Zidane overall tbh. A UCL 3-peat and 2 La Ligas in basically 6 years is insane.

It's between Ferguson, Ancelotti, Guardiola, and Mourinho. I reckon in 10 years time Klopp's name will enter the equation, too.
Ferguson: domestic dominance, while still winning a couple of champions leagues
Ancelotti: pretty much the opposite
Guardiola: reinventing football and being in possession of arguably the greatest side of all time
Mourinho: success wherever he has gone (with one notable exception...), sometimes grinding out wins against the odds (Porto CL, Inter CL final- how on earth did he win that?)

Pretty fair analysis.
Mourinho probably number one overall given his impact.
