Duelsense Edge controller

This is pretty underwhelming news for me when my second DuelSense controller just broke

Been waiting for this.........but seems miles behind the Elite still, and really not sure on those back button placement, will need to get it in hand to see what it feels like as I love my PS5 controllers easily the best standard controller I have ever had.

I am sitting here and I am generally perplexed by the idea to change the entire joystick module, especially cos knowing Sony I expect a set of those to cost the same as a normal Duelsense........

Guessing you can change the sensitivity?? Though price will be a huge factor.......and yeh just huge in general

PS5 has badly needed to some decent pad support. Dont get me wrong the vanilla pad is very very good and prob the best standard gaming pad I have ever used.

amazing triggers, nice size and weight. However the lack of any elite versions or equivalent for so long is unacceptable thankfully that looks like its ending.

On the PS4 I had back buttons and modded my sticks and have been badly waiting for something like this on PS5.

i should have just replied straight out the bat to this and said echo.

Never held an elite controller for any console, to be honest with you. Love the PS5 pad and don’t feel like I need / want a change, but I think elite controllers as an investment do make sense, given it’s your main interaction with the console and therefore probably the most important aspect.

What price and release date do you all reckon?

Realistically I think it will be £150, would love it to £100, depends what comes with it. The fact there was no release date suggests sometimes Q1 2023, unless they will release together with a game say like GoW:R, but haven't read of any hands on by anyone so feels a while off still.

So Jan and $200, so fully expecting it to be £200.......ouch, at least the 20 bucks for sticks is reasonable
