What happend so far:
Red Bull's Max Verstappen annihilated the rest of the field to take a stunning victory in the Belgian Grand Prix.
The world championship leader was in a class of his own as he fought quickly from 14th to take a firm lead by lap 18 and disappear into the distance.
Verstappen now holds a 93-point lead over Red Bull team-mate Sergio Perez in the title race. Leclerc has dropped to 3rd place after taking a penalty for speeding in the pit lane in an attempt to snatch 1 point away from Verstappen for the fastest lap. But he dropped from 5th place to 6th behind Alonso coming out of the pit lane. He did manage to get his place back on the track, but came 0.6s short of Verstappen's fastest lap and the 5s time penalty meant he finished 6th.

I think the whole pitting under a safety/virtual safety car needs to be looked at. Yes you can argue it is part of strategy, but ultimately its down to luck and really has such an impact in too many races

Pit stop today was 18s - under VSC it was 10s. Hold them for 8s

They should have pitted both to secure 2&3 OR go for the win by staying on mediums. Yes that may not have worked but it would have been about going for the WIN rather than accepting 2nd. Either way wrong call from merc here to allow that.

I would bet good money that if they had stayed out on mediums and Hamilton had finished 2nd with Russell in 4th, literally nobody here would be complaining.
Russell's just stamping his authority on the team. Now 30 (thirty) points ahead of Hamilton.

Well Toto Wolff seems to agree with my point - the team win was an impossible task. They could have had a 2-3 but ended up with a 2-4. Still caught up to Ferrari.
