The EFL are currently in talks with the Department for Culture and Media as to whether football league games go ahead on Saturday. I suspect not.

As a mark of respect following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the EFL has confirmed that all matches this weekend have been called off.
EFL fixtures will recommence on Tuesday, 13th September.

I am aware of the huge logistical, safety and security issues affecting the UK. I'm sure they will have played a part in FA reaching their decision.

Very sad news regarding her majesty. She served the country and the people of the UK to the end. God rest her soul.

Also saw on the game being on statement from the club that the weekend fixtures will be a bit of a moving feast.
I suspect we will be on but fixtures around the Capital will not.

If I'm correct. I believe all League 1 will have one home and one away game before next Monday.
With that in mind I'm hoping Tues and Sat both get the go ahead, ensuring nobody supporting a League 1 club misses the opportunity to pay their respects.
