We are playing at home against a poor Leicester side. There are players that conte has strangely stuck with over the last few weeks that are either out of form or not working in this system.
No more Emerson at rwb. You have spence and docherty on the bench who have got to be better attacking options. Emerson is not a rwb. He might work when we need to be more defensive but I felt he was very very poor attacking wise against sporting and scuffed two very good chances. Again.
No more starting son. I don’t know what is up with him but 8 games is enough to show he needs taking out of the starting 11. Especially when you have deke being dropped for him, a player who has been excellent all season and must be considering his spurs future if he keeps getting dropped for son right now
Start lenglet. He is better than Davies with the ball. Davies cannot play out from the back as well and conte seems to insist on this tactic
Get bissouma in. We are overrun so often in midfield and we have this diamond just sat on the bench
Conte asked for a squad, he got one. I am confused as to why he refuses to use it.
Maybe the loss will force his hand.

Play the players best suited to the system. I don't love 343 but if that has to be it then we need more from the WBs

Yeah saw that... He also said that he's great with the balll going forward which TBH is what we need right now... That's Why Id play a 433.... I think its better balanced given the players we have.... royal is RB not a WB, Sonny is bang outta form and Both Dier and Romero can play as a 2 (Especially given how deep PEH sits.... I don't see us being weakened by shifting formation and Perisic is enough of a pro/super experienced that he can play anywhere and be decent

Not suggesting they are as good.... but PEH, Bentancur & Bissouma reminds me a bit of the way that Liverpool have played over the past couple of years.... all action, press higher up, create and score more. At the moment we don't have enough control of games.... Games at the highest level are won & lost in the middle of the park.... 2 in the middle and 3 at the back is overly defensive and asking for trouble

We’ve lost once in the league since last April
I know the football we’re playing isn’t very expansive but Conte is only playing players he thinks he can trust.
Hopefully we get a win tomorrow and play well.

Funny writing a whole article to slate Emerson, who at least tried hard and easily on another day could have scored 3 goals against the Portuguese.
Just give the guy credit that he is much improved and Conte values his contributions.
If anything the team has had its first defeat in the season, which totally against the game so let's give them a slack.
We've gone from being easily beatable and being Dr Tottenham to a solid side but now the fickle fans want Barca style tika taka football.

Yeh amusing how Emerson is the new scapegoat, whilst others get away Scot free. I can name many more worse players than Emerson on Tuesday night. Romero, Dier, Davies, Bentancur, Kane, Son for starters.
