Not sure about it tbh. Will watch it of course but don't have much hope it will be as good as the first film. then again Top Gun 2 was a success!

It looks too much like Battleship for me, you know the one with Liam Neeson in that (pardon the pun) sunk??

Really does look like a poor film and the CGI looks far far worse.

It could be terrible but it's a James Cameron movie so I'll give it the benefit of the doubt.

The story of these Avatar sequels deserve their own movie. I think they're currently filming the fifth Avatar movie which means that Avatar 3 and 4 have already been filmed.

Not sure what happens if Avatar 2 flops, presumably all these sequels still get released regardless.

Problem being is Avatar still relevant. It's 13 years since the first movie came out in 3D and if these movies are being shown in standard 2D I'm not at all sure it will have the impact of the first Avatar.

If this gets close to being as successful as the first I'll be surprised. The first one had the pull of the new world visuals, the FX and the 3D. This one no longer has that and the visual effects actually haven't come much further since 2009 as this looks not much better. Plus Avatar didn't have much of a story and didn't even set up for a sequel with its conclusion.

I hope it's good all the same and it'll probably make a lot whatever.

Haven't they been filming Avatar 2 for 10 years?? No wonder the CGI looks woeful.
