Barney vs Chizzy time.

i put some on yesterday after watching the f1 but turned it off after about 10 mins because the crowd were awful

yaya/kolo, footballs coming home, cheering/jeering after every dart

just absolutely ruined it as a spectacal for me

used to go to the darts a lot 10 15 years ago but the prem league crowds and the abundance of coke has just ruined it now

I'm not a huge fan of the early stages of the Grand Slam as I prefer knock out darts however I still like to know the lay of the land so I just checked to see how Wade is getting on in his group.

Apparently he hasn't qualified!!?

Seens a bit harsh that world number 5 doesn't get automatic qualification, any ideas whats going on Dj?

It is pretty much winners of competitions who qualify and Wade hasn't won any.
That includes Player Championship events.

Cheers, so world ranking is irrelevant its winning events that gets you in. He did well to qualify for 16 years in a row, especially as 8 places used to go to BDO players.

Yeah, the criteria has changed a bit because of the lack of BDO.
I like it, tbh. Every tournament has its own little quirks, from using different OoMs, to the double in double out of the Grand Prix, to the round robin element here.

I'm always happy when Wright goes out, his clown/jester look has long since stopped being quirky or funny and is now just embarrassing.
