Not quite halfway yet, but as we have this long break I thought I might as well give my thoughts on how we are doing so far.
ETH is doing a very good job so far, imo. The quality of the football is way better than we have seen in recent years. Yes we have had some bad losses, but anyone who expected anything other than a bumpy ride for the first half of the season is living in an alternate reality.
The new signings have proved to be better than those of recent years with Martinez and Casemiro being exactly what we needed, Antony looking good on the right-hand side and Malacia being a fair prospect for the future.
The only one I am iffy about is Eriksen who can be excellent and very poor in the same game, yesterday being a prime example. A goal and match winning assist yet was poor for most of the game. I do not like him as a pairing with Casemiro at all.
Then we have Ronaldo. What I and a few others said about him when we signed him has been proved to be spot on.
I feel that if United are to progress for the rest of the season it may well hinge on us getting rid of Ronaldo come January.

Only thing i'd argue is about Eriksen... He's had some very good games, especially considering he is playing a role that is quite different to the rest of his career and also playing alongside different personal throughout the season. He perhaps got overhyped in the winning run, but that doesn't mean he should now be underhyped to compensate.
What I like most though is that the players are all playing as a team and clearly loving when we score/win/make a great tackle/save a shot etc (with the exception of Ronaldo, of course).
Onwards and upwards.

Season perfectly summarised. Warned people to expect a rollercoaster but the manager is doing a great job. He does need to be honest with himself about some of the players. Eriksen being one of them, cannot play him and Bruno together with Casemiro. Need Fred if they play.
Like where we are going and look forward to the rest of the season. Hopefully Martial stays fit and we bin Ronaldo as soon as possible.

If we finish top 4 / win Europa then Erik is ahead of schedule and that would be a Brucey Bonus.
The main thing is we are moving in the right direction. We are also starting to get rid of the circus acts. Lingard n Pogba have gone and Ronaldo will soon follow. We need to become a football club again and not a soap opera.

How bad was it!? I watched the game yesterday and it was an awful watch.

It wasn't awful. We were not at our best for sure. There were passages of play to be happy with and a fair few not to be happy with.

fair enough, I thought fulham dominated and deserved not only a draw but maybe even a win. Had mitro played it could have been a different story. I also saw the villa game too. bad.

Other than the header that De Gea saved they didn't really have any chances apart from the goal.

Should've heard this Fulham fan on talksport. Apparently they peppered our goal and we only had two chances and scored then both.
