Not a 12:30 match

Really don't understand why a derby like United v City is played at 12:30pm.

This match is perfect for a 3pm or 5pm seisiún in the pub.

A match of this magnitude deserves better.

Who likes the 12:30pm kick off and who doesnt?

You can't legally watch a 3pm game in the pub, in the UK and Ireland.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The ban only applies to English broadcasters, its not Irish law I believe.

I hate the early kick off... Usually a cagey game, and if you lose, your weekend is a bit dampened
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yea, but when we win the early game, the weekend has a bit more of a shine

Yes but Ireland uses the same broadcasters as the UK for PL games. Therefore you can't legally watch 3pm games in UK and Ireland, in the pub.

Can't you? Nobody told the gaffer of my local

Nobody needs to tell the gaffer, the gaffer would know already.

Exactly. Many pubs have IPTV. Costs an absolute fortune to show the legal games. Around £20k. Many can't afford that at the best of times especially now.

BT sports need to stop showing big matches. They should leave that to Sky sports.

Agree with this! 3pm comes along and we must go to the next programme, just like the BBC at least Sky will over run at times
