At least next game is on Thursday

Take out our anger on Spurs. I hate it when we lose and there is an international break or a freeakin World Cup

As much as I am shocked about the Bruno offside goal I am more irritated by how our lads fell apart after that goal. Happens time and time again. Spurs at home last season and Rea Madrid.

That United second goal was a sickener. Let the FA worry about that ridiculous decision but we are a much better side than united by some distance and losing the game because of one bad call is annoying.

Akanji had played so well, best defender on the pitch then switches off. Im not sure if they were trying to play offside but that was awful.

3 home games coming up.Im actually happy with the so called crisis talk because it just switches the players minds on and makes them realise they are in a race. The ref was awful but it can happen at places like Old Trafford or Anfield.

Thought Walker was good to be fair, Mahrez better second half and Rodri our best player by some distance as usual.

Bernardo, Foden and Haaland struggling but it is what it is.

Lost count how many balls Cancelo gave away. Is there a way we can play Walker on the left and get Rico Lewis back in?

I really can’t see why you’re blubbering over the Bruno goal!
By the rules of the game it was a goal, so dry your eyes son!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
By the rules it could go either way, tbf. The fact that the rule allows goals like that and the Mo Salah one last week to stand really highlights the rules are pretty shiiit.

No doubt about it, no matter how shiite the rules are you play to the rules and the refs whistle.

Personally think it’s a fair article and I’d be angry if that goal went against us.

Only thing I’d pick up on is the comment about OT and Anfield.

Referees will inevitably be influenced by any of the big crowds and big teams - the idea City are negatively impacted by this compared with United is far fetched.

Villa scored a perfectly good goal against City recently. Wasn't given despite VAR being used even though it was a goal all day long.

What happened there? Don't remember City allowing them a goal in the fairness of the game. 😂

Thought Akanjis post match interview was interesting, would be good to know what actual guidance was given to the players at the start of the season.

What he say?

Said that the guidance they’d been given was that it would be considered offside. He may well be wrong, but I’ve always thought they should publicise the guidance more.

Trent was deemed offside yday when he hadnt touched the ball. A shot had been deflected to him off a Brighton player. Its the inconsistencty that angers players, fans etc.

Simple really. If player doesnt touch it its not offside so players need to react.

So you are saying a player should be able to shield a ball, block the keepers vision etc from an offside position and not be called offside? May as well scrap the offside rule altogether.

INTERFERING with the play is often called in an off-side situation, especially when it involves a goal scoring situation. Very bad "no call"! The two Man. U. players were practically holding hands as they headed towards the Man. City goalkeeper! In addition, the Flag was clearly up!
