Well I have just watched the first episode of TLOU TV series. It is fair to say they are following the story we all know and love, but have obviously their own take on the game.
There are plenty of familiar lines from the script, but equally very different takes on the game. It makes sense, as having Joel mow down an army while grabbing ammo from draws is hardly going to translate in real life.
I will leave my wife with the final say. She has no idea of the game, so had no opinion of what to expect. She enjoyed it well enough, and looking forward to the next episode.

Loved episode 4. Did feel like it’s building to one of the best parts of the story for me. Again, think Bella Ramsey has been a star.

Just to let people know. Because of the Superbowl on Sunday. This weeks episode was aired on Friday, which means we can watch the episode today.

Best episode for me - had everything in it that makes TLoU the last of us. My only criticism is there wasn't a toy shop

Pretty good, felt a bit rushed in parts but I did enjoy it.
Favourite parts were the bloater scene and when Joel wasted the fireflies.

Some really epic parts, some really good storylines, but also lots of missed opportunity and rushed sections - especially the last episode. Over all a solid 8/10 for me

Absolutely loved it, and thought Bella Ramsey was exceptional as Ellie. I did wonder what they would do for the hospital scene and can understand why they shied away from having it really raw, but I think I would have preferred it more brutal and in your face, to try to do more to “villainize” Joel which was one of the fun reflections of the game, particularly after playing Part II.

I actually was a bit disappointed with it. Started really well, but as others have said, it felt rushed. I think there were quite a few missed opportunities with it and it could have been much better than it actually was.
