I doubt that. Kane’s missed 25 league games in the last five years. Oh Simon’s missed more than that in two and a bit seasons with Napoli.

I was being tongue in cheek above, but if I were looking at his fitness from a United POV, I'd primarily look at the danger of recurrence of the shoulder injury, as he had issues at Wolfsburg as well as at Napoli (the the final occurrence being in 2020). Other than that, I wouldn't be too worried. He missed a lot of football due to the freak cheekbone injury (the silver lining from which is he gets to wear that mask which objectively makes him more frightening to defenders), was out with Covid a couple of times, and beyond that his record doesn't look like that of an injury prone player.

Do United get cashback for signing pensioners?
Varane soon to be 30, Casemiro is 30, Eriksen too.
Maguire, de gea and the new striker are all also over 30.
If reus arrives as well that's an old squad.
For what united have spent the last 4-5 years there is a real lack of quality youngsters imo

Let's be honest, for the outlay united have spent the last few seasons, that really isn't that impressive at all tbh.

We could benefit from two or three top signings in the 23-26yr old bracket though.
