He's not the kinda guy that will stay quiet if he doesn't agree with something. Given Man C's patchy form this season, he probably did have a gripe with PeP in some regard. 61 buy option for a 28 year old left back is pretty nice though.

It’s a pity it’s a loan. Would have been nice if it was a permanent transfer, even at 40 million. Was made to look better than he really is and there were several games at the back end of last season where he almost cost us games
Slip against Leeds which went unpunished.

Then he started to cost us games this season
Fulham (almost) and Liverpool.

Guy thinks he is better than he is and he may struggle to recapture his form hence why I would have preferred a permanent deal.

The fact that he thinks he is better than to sit on the bench and watch Ake play is disgusting.

He is a bad influence and probably affected the likes of Bernardo.

We obviously not a happy camp at the moment but maybe that’s what we need to. Move forward than to sit and allow the wounds to fester.

Would be great if the players just respond.

Cancelo has been in such poor form that I am amazed that anybody would offer £60m for him. At his best he is fabulous, but it has been a while since he has been at his best. I think Ake has really stepped up but we are thin there, I guess that Laporte would be the cover if Ake was injured and the game deemed too big for Gomez.

Apparently he had a punch-up with Pep before the Arsenal game.

Only one winner in those situations.

Strange one. He had a spell where he was sensational, but his recent form has been poor. Not just for us but he was a tad underwhelming at the WC too. Sad it ends this way. Left back has been a problem position for us, seems like forever.

Am I right in thinking that he can play in the CL but not against us?
