A great example of what international football is all about tonight. A team game and not the sum of the parts. Wales have demonstrated this well over recent tournaments. Need to keep building on this over coming years. Seems very simple but people often lose sight of this

Wales have demonstrated the exact opposite of that.

Yeah very odd statement when they have been a one man band for years

Attention seeking stuff. The usual. Needs to grow up.

Outstanding result. Changed days from the multiple "call offs" when squads were announced.

Can't get excited about international football though until you get to the knockout stages of the big tournaments.

Not as impressive as the France results if we’re honest but certainly the best since.

Serbia aside also the most enjoyable.

I think because it’s so early on we can’t really get as swept up in it. It might look even better should we follow it up with 4 or even 6 points in the next two though

It does though shut up any remaining doubters of the manager or players.

Good players for his system and when our key players are fit we can give anyone at game at home.

Now former Newcastle United flop Joselu, who now plays for Espanyol and scored a dream double on his international debut against Norway days before turning 33 at the weekend - is the latest in the conveyor belt of complainers to have a moan.

He said: "When you lose there must be self-criticism and look at things to correct, but that penalty I didn't get would have changed everything.

"Scotland didn't play football and their first goal was only because of a slip from Pedro Porro, which can happen to anyone.

"It was one of the games where we had a feeling we would have to do a lot more than the opposition to score a goal.

"I am convinced that nine times out of ten we would have won that game.

"I was denied a clear penalty.

"The ball didn't seem to want to go in for us. Scotland made a lot of fouls during the game that stopped the dynamics of our attack, but we still had chances.

"We are humans and had a bad day. Scotland knew we were going to dominate the game and they knew what game they wanted to play, they were lucky to get that goal so early.

"There was a feeling of anger after the game because we were all exhausted and frustrated.

"But there are six games left and we will be united for it."
