Hello This is the thread for the World Snooker Championship. Qualifiers will run from Monday 3rd April up until Wednesday 12th April. The proper tournament will run from Saturday 15th April until Monday 1st May. The whole tournament will be televised on BBC and Eurosport. The qualifiers will be available on Discovery Plus. Judgement Day (Final qualifying round) should be available on Youtube. First round matches are best of 19, last 16 and Quarter finals are best of 25, semi finals are best of 33 and the final is best of 35.

I am on holiday so missing the action this week, but good to hear Higgins is playing decent. Best Murphy today 5-2. Wilson tomorrow.
I found the new live scoring a bit annoying. A bit more info in each match, but I don’t see any information on the draw or order of play for the following day etc.

Yeah the live scores is awful, it barely works. I don't know why they changed it.
Judd was 4-0 down to Chris Wakelin yesterday and ended up winning 5-4, he then beat Ben Wollaston 5-0. He hasn't been on table 1 throughout the tournament which is a surprise and his quarter final this afternoon will be on table 2.

Higgins vs Judd in the semi final tomorrow afternoon. I expect the winner to face Selby in the final.

Judd has only faced a bunch of borderline nobodies to the Semi. John has faced Zhou, Murphy and Wilson. Might explain why Judd hasnt been on Table 1 yet. Hope that works in Johns favour.

Yes Judd what a comeback! 3-0 down and it wasn't looking good but he managed to find a way and win 6-5. He definitely deserved to win that just a shame Arsenal couldn't beat Fulham very rarely do both Arsenal and Judd win when they are playing on the same day!

There is definitely a curse preventing Judd and Selby meeting each other. The afternoon session of the final isn't on the main Eurosport TV channel only on Discoveryplus.

Some more shocking TV scheduling for the snooker! I will likely give it a miss, trying to shake off the jet lag today. Would have made an effort if John beat Judd.
