Succession S4 E4

****SPOILER ARTICLE****

So, after last week's episode the fallout and the end game is well underway. Brian Cox' character was actually planned to die in season 1, I'm glad he's remained in this show up till now.

But moving on now we can see everyone is scrambling to reassert their positions within the company, and it's glorious to see. Marcia is back, Gerri is hanging on and Tom is royally fvcked!
Another great episode, but the main question is, was Kendall's name underlined or crossed out? Looking at a still image is looks like his name starts off being underlined then by the end of his name it's crossed out as the successor to Logans empire.

It's a good twist as it leaves everything up in the air still. Did Shivs fall toward the end of the episode potentially complicate her supposed pregnancy? What now for "Here to serve." Tom? My favourite line from this episode was when the siblings were reading about Logan in the papers:

“A complicated man" = “threw phones at staff". “Sharp reader of the national mood" = “a bit racist". “Very much a man of his era" = “again racist, also relaxed about sexual assault". “Business genius" = “never paid a penny in US tax". I was giggling with glee.

The end of the episode when Kendall orders his Comms chief to spread bad words about Logan with a smirk on his face, is he beginning to show he really can be like Logan? I get the feeling Shiv and Roman are going to leak to the press that Kendall got someone killed right back in S1 the way this is going..

This show is purring along nicely, the fallout is going to be spectacular

It's a capitalist version of Game of Thrones. The sons and daughter and a few others trying to become the successor to a massively successful media company. Other companies looking to buy the company also, the writing of this show is as good as it gets in Television
