Anybody who hasn't read the article 'Ridiculous Stats for Erling Haaland' should take 10 minutes to do so.

Obviously the best striker in the PL at the moment by a long way, and they make a pretty convincing argument for him being the best ever. His goals come at one every 65 minutes, against teams at the bottom of the league as well as those at the top of the European royalty.

One day his ridiculous records will be broken but I suspect they will stand for a long time. If he had played more minutes rather than being substituted at half time in games where Pep has decided that the opposition has had enough, he would probably have beaten Dixie Dean's long held single season record.

The clause was removed to allow him to move for less than 150m.

Removing the clause is good for Halland because no one will pay 150m for anyone anytime soon.

I dont hope he leaves, I enjoy watching so much of him. I just think he will follow through on his original plan of staying at city for a bit and then moving to Real Madrid like it or not they are the biggest team in the world and he wants to play for them at some point it seems.

Guys a machine, hope he stays at Man City.

he'll have a weird place in footballing history, will set some stupid records but wont ever come close to how ronaldo/messi are/were viewed.

He is the next version of Ronaldo. He is a machine, almost the perfect striker. If he avoids injuries he will be remembered as such. the perfect striker.

Ronaldo played as a wide forward for almost all of his career, at least the most relevant part of it, and played in a completely different style to Haaland. I really don't see the similarities other than 'they score tons of goals'.

I did answer, I was pointing City fans at the article in case they had not seen it.

Maybe we will win the League, but if Arsenal do it will be because they deserve it. I won't be whinging, the best team always wins over 38 games.
