What was the alternative to Sterling? He put in a shift and Aubameyang didn't when he came on. Felix hasn't done any better though he might win a cross bar challenge between them. If we have had so many chances does that not tell you anything. Setting up a team that creates chances is all a manager can do. Finishing the chances is down to the individuals.

plenty teams play with a smaller striker. its down to how you try and utilise the guy.

Plus he isnt a striker and shouldnt be judged whilst playing there, same as Havertz or any other square peg they try to fit in.

I dont understand why he doesnt even play one of the young boys upfront, play a recognised striker. A poor striker is prob still better than a decent player who isnt a striker being forced up there.

The difference when aubameyang came on was stark.
We got higher up the pitch, he works harder than sterling, created space for the wingers and had more shots on target in 45 minutes than any of our other players over the last 5 games.

Yet he starts sterling up top? ridiculous.

What's wrong with fofana? Even havertz was better than this.

The difference of having aubameyang, who I dont even rate, was chalk and cheese, we finally looked like a capable team second half.

By then the damage was done though as brentford could shut up shop.

fofana was our best player first half v southampton, got subbed off and never been seen since.

Needs to be the way forward.

No more sterling, pulisic, ziyech or gallagher as forwards.

I was not impressed with him at all. The net result was zero goals whatever he did.

I was not impressed by anyone in our team to tell the truth,I think that even poor old N'Golo seemed to give up ! and this is the reason that Frank must take full responsibility .
