What tactical masterpiece

is BF Sam preparing for Leeds this weekend? Inverted wingers? Underlapping fullbacks? Highly skilled No 10 appearing late in the box for a key pass?

Or possibly 'Lump it Up to the big bloke'?

Honestly I don't see the point in changing a manager with 4 games to go, even for one who has the tactical nous and subtlety of a bull elephant. I'm assuming that he is negotiating with Reading for the emergency loan of Andy Carroll so let us hope our backline is up to the aerial assault they will be subjected to this weekend.

A bloke I spoke to last night at the game reckoned he'd start with 2 goalkeepers and a Back 9.

Knowing Fat Sam he will have written this game off and will be banking on the games after to save Leeds from going down.

I doubt it Maf, most of us have seen more failure than success at City. Failure on a scale even a West Ham fan can appreciate.

Well Sam is better than Pep, Klopp, everyone.
He said it so it must be true

It’s simply stupid to wait until only four games remain to appoint an interim manager (in charge till the end of the season).

They may survive relegation, but it won’t be because the board have made this decision. Although if they do survive, the board will take credit for doing so.

Definitely one of the trippiest managerial appointments I’ve ever seen. You have to occasionally remind yourself that BFS isn’t a total idiot, or at least wasn’t. But this smacks of desperation on Leeds part and sheer opportunism on Allardyce’s. Gonna be fun to see him try to turn a team that is all attack and no defence into just the opposite.
