With reports linking Mason to Juventus, are we likely to receive any transfer fee for him?
Or do the club just write it off?
Before the problems he's had, i would have valued him at between £50-70m based on his age and undoubted talent.
But now, with all that's gone on, and the fact he hasnt played in so long, I'd take £30m and be rid.
It's clear his time is up.
Mason to go?

I think with a view to become permanent
The club seems unsure of what to do because of yhethe potential backlash from fans and sponsors

Couldn’t we get Stella Artois and a string vest manufacturer to sponsor us, so we can keep him? Those sponsors would be perfect for Mason

How long is remaining on his contract? A successful loan abroad could lead to us getting a better fee than selling this summer when his reputation is at its worst
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He's got 2 years left. So any increase in fee from a good loan move would be counteracted by the fact he'd only have a year left. Best to get some kind of transfer fee now if possible. Draw a line under the matter. Otherwise there is going to be a discussion about him every time he scores a goal. ETH needs to be able to just focus on the task at hand without that kind of distraction.

Somewhere in a dark corner RDDs greenwood senses are twitching. The fact that elvis has jus commented has just added to this

Yeah I think you're probably right. The question is who would stump up for him. Regardless of talent, it's a reputational risk for anybody who signs him. I'm not surprised he's been mainly linked with moves abroad

Or Culer Enterprises when the takeover happens.
Our new owner could release public statements about how Mason is innocent and has been bullied by Joe Public.

Such a shame - he's exactly the kind of player we could do with right now to finish of some of the chances we create.
Kane is just another of those overpriced vanity signings who will work well for a year before becoming another ageing star that needs replacing.

I’ve been told today that the Juve stuff is bullocks. However I’m told he’s 100% going and he’s accepted it. He feels aggrieved at United for many reasons regarding his suspension and then lack of urgency to bring him back.
