On the guard of honour thing-it’s something I genuinely don’t care about. If a team does it for us, then fair play to them. If they don’t, then meh.

Beale being interviewed after the game and saying ‘congratulations to them’ is typical of the relationship between the clubs right now.

Yes...they did it around early sixties when we qualified for a European semi-final.

On a rather uninteresting point, rangers did it for Hearts apparently when they won the championship in 2014/15.
