Could easily have taken Haaland, Gundo and Rodri off earlier and Rico could have given Walker a rest with 25 minutes to go. Great performance nonetheless but bigger fish to fry on Wednesday!

Total neutral, but couldn’t believe the irreplaceable Rodri played 88 mins, in a game that was over 5 mins into the 2nd half. Good arguments for other earlier subs too.

Would have looked like a bit of a mug after the Gundogan penalty fiasco. Totally agree though, there was half an hour minimum to be had for Rodri, Dias etc. even the subs he did make were late. Luckily much of the game was played at walking pace towards the end
