Money and football

Sore losers mesmerized by City's success are coming out fighting guerilla warfare: destroy what you can't conquer. They can't recognize why City triumphs. City had no striker last season, they couldn't afford Kane at 200m. So it's false to claim City is a "bottomless pit" owned by a spendthrift.
United and Chelsea have overspent City in recent times. United's goal difference this season is a whooping 50! And have lost 9 times! Chelsea even worse after spending 600m. So you might spend and fail. Money offers no guarantee; no wonder the two clubs have been very busy recruiting coaches.

And who do we all have to thank for the regulatory framework we currently have…?

There's just a lot of bitter people around, everywhere, so if anything or anyone is successful and they don't fit in the 'usual' criteria...all sorts of BS gets spouted.

What’s the “usual criteria” ?

It is worth listening to Gary Neville, who says quite openly that he doesn't support FFP because the rules were specifically written to exclude the likes of City, Chelsea etc so the old school clubs could keep all the riches for themselves. A clear restraint of trade and anybody who thinks these clubs did it for the good of the game is kidding themselves. I hope there is no proof of City cheating but the clubs that colluded in a cartel (and the PL who allowed it) should clearly be prosecuted for the Restraint of Trade, which is illegal.

If you genuinely love football, then you must not sit back and let City butcher our game. Why haven’t the EPL at least banned them from signing anyone??

It’s ridiculous.

If you love the game you should support the permanent banning of any club behind the restraint of trade cartel.

Ironically it's the same clubs that are pushing for an ESL who are behind FFP.

City really are overrated. Been battered here by Brighton. I fancy us to finish above them if we bag Kane and Mount.

Another big away game

Another bottle job by Haaland…

Nobody wants to talk about his pathetic away record in big matches.

I fancy you to finish 20 points adrift of City.

That goal wouldn't have been chalked off if it was Kane.

United will probably spend about £300m in the Summer to try and reduce the deficit to 10 points next season.
