Ake or Akanji?

Which could force a choice between Walker or Stones?

Ake hasn't put a foot wrong this season (apart from getting injured), and were it not for the best striker in world football and some amazing midfielders could have been player of the season. So does Pep go with him or Akanji, who has also been pretty awesome? Or does is he play Stones, Dias, Akanji and Ake and Walker miss out? Given the form at the back of those 5 it is a really tough choice and someone will be really miffed not to start.
In front of them the team pretty much picks itself with Foden, Alvarez and Mahrez to come off the bench.

Same side as United I reckon with Eddy in for Ortega!

Unless there is some tactical reason to put Akanji on the right and bring Ake in for Walker, don’t know enough about Inter myself!

I think it will be Akanji, can't see him changing it now. I actually think we look better with Ake though.

Its a shame as he clearly preferred Ake before the injury. I think he deserves to play the biggest game of his career, after staying patient as a squad player and not kicking off after we rejected Chelsea's offer.

It was always a risk by pep playing him twice in 4 days straight after an injury. Especially when he had made other changes during that Leeds game. I was very surprised to see him in that Leeds line up.

Akanji will play, it’ll be Ake or Walker.

Both great, Ake’s tackling second to none, but Akanji is quicker over the ground. In Pep we trust.
