Club is very good at keeping their cards close to their chest when it comes to transfers. I wonder what the plans are for bringing through some of the academy players. McAtee is a cert. Mate of mine is a blades fan, says after a slow start, he’s had a great season. Doyle as well, but I can’t see where he would fit in.

Btw inexplicable that Rico didn’t get a call for England.

Southgate said he left Rico out because of his age and the heavy season he's just had.

Makes sense I suppose but I bet the lad was disappointed.

I wouldn't have minded him staying a year with them in a team he knows the style of play. Think that might have given us a good indicator but in Pep with trust so be glad to have him back.
