Getting whitwashed with Bazball is not a great look for England supporters.

If we lose 4 or 5 nill this ashes then we are back to square one

There's nothing wrong with playing positive cricket, the issue is they are playing stupid cricket at times as well. 180 odd for one in the first innings then throw it away with ridiculous shots you could see because the wicket was two paced it was always going to be dangerous to hook and pull and yet one by one they all couldn't resist. Just saying this is how we play is not good enough you've got to be able to adapt to the situation.

You don’t have to play bazball and lose. We’re losing because we’re taking the approach too far and playing recklessly. Bazball shouldn’t be about taking stupid risks with your wickets. It’s about being positive and being positive in attack and defence.

The reason we’re 2-0 down is because for key parts of this series we’ve executed the approach poorly. The first innings collapse was ridiculous. I don’t want to see England play like that no matter how entertaining it is.

Absolutely spot on, it isn't bazball that has cost us, it's individuals playing silly shots. Playing aggressive cricket is fine but there's spells/balls where you have to defend or dig in for a bit. They've got to get the balance right

I agree with what you guys are saying, but the overall picture is without the high risk method England have in place Australia wouldve won this series comfortably as their bowling attack is world class. The approach England are taking has certainly narrowed the gap between the 2 sides. The series could easily be level at 1all or England could even be 2 nil up. The dropped catches in the first match cost us more than anything.
