Maybe I'm being thick, but couldn't they do this now, just by freezing your accounts and blocking your cards?

Unless you already have a load of cash on you isn't it pretty much the same result?

Pretty sure it's him being thick. Who is going to do this then? The parking attendant? The bloke who owns the clamps in the dodgy car park?

You live in a cashless society just now. It will be exactly like now apart from car boot sales won't be the same. That's it.

Not really a coup then, just the gradual and inevitable shift from one system to another due to advances in technology

Soooooo...there is a wider concern here. If you take the scenario that cash has gone and everything is now essentially digitally driven, then you must also have to see that you lose control.

For instance, let's say you have an outstanding fine...say a speeding fine, you are going to pay but have not...its perfectly plausible that you can be denied access to your money until the fine is paid, so you are forced to pay before you can withdrawn any money....its one possible scenario.

And before people say this wouldn't happen, I would say...you trust the financial authorities that much do you?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No it isn't. There are no laws which say you can freeze an account because somebody hasn't paid a fine. Even if there was, pay the speeding fine.

There taking away are rights to break the law!

Klaus Schwab hasn't thought that far ahead yet.

He's only just finished planning a pandemic and a European war – give him chance.
