Conclusion to the golf was even better than the tennis - two of the best shots on 18 McIntyre & McIlroy will ever play on the same hole, almost the same position, almost the same outcome, both securing birdies in awful conditions and only one other player all day managed a birdie on 18. Insanely good and exciting.

Aye, really exciting, unless you were doing what I always do … recording Sky golf so that I can fast forward though the ads and interminable pre-shot routines. Been watching it avidly for 4 days … Rory gets to the 18th tee … fecking Sky recording ends. Was fecking raging, and it’s happened multiple times previously as well. 😡

I'd recorded the following show as a back up plan, for that very eventuality, but that didn't catch the finish either (it rarely does) ... it just disappeared into the ether (yet again), unless you were watching it live. Really something basic that Sky need to sort out, but they don't give a fook ... a bit like the annoying banner staying on screen for way too long after you fast forward. I mean what sort of numpties is that "feature" aimed at? I know what the fook I'm watching.
