Oh dear wayne

Wayne Rooney on the Glazers: “I’m sure they will get the credit they deserve for the job they have done, but also they’re going to get the negativity from fans who never seem to acknowledge what they’ve done for the club."

Maybe we know how the leaches have literally spent nothing of their own money since being in charge of us and fleeced us for over 1.5billion in dividends

He got 300k a week under the Glazers before it was a standard wage around the world for an elite footballer. It's no wonder he loves them.

Personally I'd enjoy watching the whole family being eaten alive by wild Lions and Tigers but each to your own Wayne.

You’ve got a half billion net spend the last five years, only Arsenal have outdone you.

We’ve had a 220 million net spend

Saying that your transfer business is absolutely poverty.

Iv never understood the contradictory arguments against the Glazers

Money grabbing leeches, but also said to be hugely wasteful with money, ie, ROoneys contract, Jones contract, Samchos wage,

Some of our fans don't get it either. That berk Goldbridge is the worst of the lot. He thinks fans hate them because we don't get enough money to spend on players. 😂

We spend as much as anyone and probably more. The trouble is they hired numpties to run the club. That's all on them. And there's the debt too of course. Their debt.

Having read what Rooney said in the Athletic the OP has been very selective with what Wazza did say. He has missed off a fair bit.

It's hard to judge the execs for me, as so much of what they do goes unseen and is hard to attribute to particular individuals.

Just a few seasons ago, the majority on here had Woodward responsible for the commercial work when it was Arnold doing that, and very few knew about Judge and his role in transfers.

If I was asked to name demonstrably better chief execs, football directors or commercial directors, I'd struggle to name many.

Wazza is a legend and one of my favourite players ever at his peak but we really should have let him off to Chelsea that summer SAF left.

Instead we gave a massive contract to a player who was clearly in decline which we ended up paying even after he had left the club.

I’ve no doubt of SAF had stayed Rooney would have been out that summer.

Just one of a number of awful Woodward decisions.

Glazers paid him royally and when he held the club ransom they caved to his demands. Of course he's positive about them the caaaant.
