EPL Top 6 predictions

The EPL season is approaching very soon and so far the transfer window has been relatively quiet. Here is how I see top 6 shaping up this season:

1) Man City - The champions. Will be interesting to see how Kovacic replaces captain Gundogan. Mahrez also gave offered them good depth, so that will leave a gap. Gvardiol is a top signing and will surely improve their defence.

2) Arsenal - Lost Xhaka but replaced with EPL experienced Rice and Havertz. Timber is a good signing who offers flexibility as can play in number of positions. Still a striker short but if we keep key players fit for most of the season it will be a close title race

3) Chelsea - Major rebuild for Poch but he has the ability. Nkunku is a great signing but Jackson is still raw. If they can bring in a top striker then top 3 is very possible

4) Liverpool - Disappointing season last time but will bounce back this time. Need to replace the midfielders lost/about to lose. Expect Klopp to turn things around. Mac Allister and Szoboszlai are good signings and will create more chances/goals. A lot will depend on VVD regaining his old form.

5) Man Utd- Still lacking a top class striker. Rashford carried them last season and if he is injured then severe lack of goals. Onana is a good signing but will miss a month in January due to AFCON. Can Mount fulfil his early promise at Chelsea?.

6) Villa - Top class manager and are improving their squad. All their big players are staying put and will give everyone a tough game.

Will be tougher for England to get the top two coefficient this season with United, Arsenal and Newcastle in the CL and Brighton and Villa being lower seeded in the smaller comps. West Ham remains to be seen after losing rice. Spurs and Chelsea generally add a lot to the coefficient each year.

United, Arsenal and Newcastle will do as well as Spurs and Chelsea did this year.

Depends on the draw, all three could struggle. The prem will still be in a strong position, but the last few years have had a few strong performers in Europe.

It's no guaranteed 5 places for sure but I'd say City, Liverpool and Villa have a good chance to win each of their competitions.

Yeah definitely, just think it will be tougher than previous years. Spurs are ranked 21 and Chelsea 3 in the coefficients, which tells you their contributions.
