Given that those two teams never had a chance of ever being the dominant side in England without being bankrolled and financially doped then it obviously makes sense.

The PL haven't acted quick enough on City. They clearly know they should take action but are clearly worried about City chucking £50m at lawyers and dragging it all out. City know they aren't innocent. They don't really care because they know they have deeper pockets than the FA.

The detail I have seen on this investigation so far is that it was spotted by the new regime when they were reviewing the previous regime's books. They relate to what might be irregular payments to agents between 2012 and 2019.

That's as much detail I have seen si far, not sure how it relates to city as I'm not following that. It's not important to me one way or another. That may change but until ot does I'm not interested in speculation.

Back to Chelsea, given the information I have seen so far we have a period of time that whatever happened, well happened.

To me, apart from what exactly happened there are a host of other questions such as why, did we gain anything directly from it, was it illegal, was it a mistake or planned. Does this mean prior to 2012 we were squeaky clean, etc, etc, etc.
