All this talk of big signings for big money is not going to happen. Over the past few years we have built a good young squad capable of winning a domestic treble. Arguably we have already bought to protect the next few years with top young players and the only significant loss to our starting XI is Jota (Starfelt's loss being mitigated by the signing of Nawrocki)
Realistically out of the entire first team squad only 20 of them have a future at Celtic, the rest need to move on. However looking at who has no future it is clear where we lack depth - Goalkeeper, Left back and Centre back. They have to be our priorities over signing a winger to replace Jota.
We have 1 definite keeper, 2 centre half's and 1 left back
We have 7 players for the 3 midfield slots
We have 7 players for the 3 attacking slots (albeit I have left Forrest in there for now)
There are 10 players that need to get moved on, some of them have been here a while and others have failed to live up to the standards. That is a lot of players to go and likely not for a huge amount of money each, if at all. I'd actually say 15 players to move on but 4 of them are already on loan and unlikely many of them will get back to the first team.

Folk need to remember that Ange’s start with us was very poor. It took a few games for the players to adapt to Ange’s ways. That’s always the case with a new manager so let’s see what unfolds over the next few months. If BR can’t get the team playing well and winning then the gallows can be put up in ra car park for him lol 😂

Indeed. Ange inherited an utter car crash. BR has taken over a treble winning squad, and initially seems intent on wrecking that. Time will tell, but initial signs are pretty meh … at best.
