We are currently on holiday in Spain and have been amazed at the lack of support for the final. On our 20 minute walk to an English pub to watch the final, we saw no Spanish bars with a television and 30 minutes after the end of the game were in a tapas bar where the result came thru to a very low key response. I’m sure it was a very different picture in England. We have seen no flags and no support for the home team!!!

i watched about an hour of the final...only time during the tournament I'd watched more than 5 minutes of any match in one go
happy Spain won ofcourse
switched over the second the ref blew the whistle...interest ended

Didn’t watch any of it but enjoyed that we beat Australia as I would be in any sporting event.
Our media acted like they’d won the world cup the second the US went out so I lost interest even further at that point.
I don’t watch football games that don’t include Liverpool unless it’s the proper World Cup or Euros. Why would I deviate for women’s football?!

I've watched mainly highlights but sat down to watch the final. I could not believe how bad the standard was, especially from England. So I'm not really surprised the interest isn't there, especially from men.

It’s probably because you’re in a tourist area. Not many locals frequent them and the local bars don’t target them
