I won't get carried away with the football that we played as it was against a Rangers side that attacked us. We played through their press well at times and had some good counter attacks. Finishing, composure or final ball stopped us scorig more.
However, we won't have that sort of freedom on the pitch against most teams. Dundee will replicate St Johnstone and defend with 10 men. as will most teams that we play. I dread going to Livingston and their pitch when we get slowed down.
We need to play quick football through packed defences and the likes of Maeda and Abada are not as effective when that happens. Hopefully our new signings make the difference in being able to play forward with some creativeness.

We have a lot of cover for each position but the reality is we weaken the team with just 3 or 4 of the starting XI out. My concersn remain - if our starting players are unable to break down a packed defence then we do not have quality coming on to do something different.

I did a search and dozens of other outlets here and Yorkshire reported Celtic rejected the offer AND added that he wasn't for sale.
McAvennie (or his ghost writer) the only one that went with Celtic wanted to sell him. He might have got 'confused'?
