After some absurd criticism on these boards and also in the media, i have to say to Gareth Southgate, well done.
England put on a very good show in a hostile atmosphere and well deserved to win, perhaps we might have scored a couple of more goals, but the players put in a good performance.
Also a word for the England fans who were there, outnumbered greatly by the Scottish fans ,but they seemed to make a lot more noise ! and the support you gave was tremendous, well done all of you.
Well played Gareth Southgate.

England fans have the most boring songbook in Europe.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Scotlands is second then, faaaacking schittty Flower of Scotland - a song written in the 1960’s to celebrate a battle that took place in 1314 for faaaacks sake - and you lot reckon we’re living in the past when we talk about 1966

100% agree, dreadful dirge. That's an anthem though, everybody has one of those.

Considering the easy draws england have had. He should definitely have won something.
Anytime he faces a decent team he crumbled

thats essentially it.
Would be like praising someone who beats a load of under 13 teams and then when they play a mens team they lose.
Everytime we play a big team/big game, we lose.

Losing by the odd goal or going out on penalties is not crumbling. It's football.i mean how many games are we talking about here? Two?

I understand folk complaining about how England play, that's football, everyone has an opinion. What I don't understand is the level of abuse he gets re: his success, in tourney football he's been relatively successful compared to his predecessors, the golden era of Lampard and Gerrard for example never got to a final.
