It's entirely relevant you lunatic.

Not sure whether you have to attend matches or live in the local area to be considered a fan.

I've been going for years but there was a spell in the late 90s early 2000s when i stopped going (rubbish timing as we were great then). Didn't make me any more or less of a fan just meant my priorities/finances changed.

For those that have never been, i would suggest attending at least 1 match so you can get a feel of the matchday atmosphere.
