The three points were welcome, but I thought Spurs were poor, other than the 15 minutes after going 2-0 up. Still to much messing around at the back for more liking. Higher up the pitch is where Spurs are at their best.

Definitely this, Ange wants up to play from the back but we are not there yet, improvement is needed.

We are clearly there. Our passing out of the back under pressure and through the thirds has been excellent this season - but it’s high risk - there will inevitably a percentage of times it goes wrong, but don’t except Ange to changing his strategy.

Anyway, Sandy is whinging about us just hanging onto the ball at the back when Palace wouldn’t press. That’s Palaces problem, not ours, and Sandy doesn’t understand the tactics of modern football.

No problem with playing out from the back with good crisp accurate passing. But I do have a problem with just passing between the goalie and the CB. 50 per cent of Spurs possession must have been that.

Look I am pleased with the win, but it was not a great performance. Only one shot on target tells you that. I just don't like all the nonsense of just passing between the goalie and the CBs at snails pace. It serves absolutely no purpose.

Spurs played well for about 15 minutes 2nd half after they went 2-0 up. They then found a way to let a poor Palace side back into the game.

Maybe I am being over critical. But I am one of the very few, possibly the only one, who tipped a title challenge pre season, so I perhaps want Spurs to be near perfect every game. So I find fault perhaps where there is none.

After the handball goal that was allowed Klopp will try asking for the game to replayed, since it's another result that doesn't benefit Liverpool.

Spurs are the one’s who benefited and you’re still going on about it weeks after the event. Even Liverpool fans have stopped talking about it.

It was certainly a different type of performance, but I find that pleasing that we can win those type of games.

But I'm sorry Sandy but this passing at the back issue you have, I really think you are missing the point abit. Spurs pass it at the back like that with the intention of sides pressing, this leaves spaces that we can then play into. If Palace do not press, then at 2-0 up its literally their own time they are wasting. Of course, if we were losing then I imagine there would have been abit more urgency.

Davies last night, showed how bad he is… the fact that we were playing Dier, Sanchez, Tanganga & a rapidly declining Lloris, alongside him, makes me shudder!

Romero & VDV are amongst the best in the Premier League… are they as good as Alderweirld & Vertonghen were?

Thought VDV last night was a monster …..I read he was fast but he is way quicker than I thought he would be

Romero again was also superb

Not sure we can persuade a top class centre back to play second fiddle but would be nice

Got to hope Phillips is in the mould of VDV as he is happy to sit on the bench

seems to be in a down mood!
True Davies is not up to standards and Richarlison is having confidence problems, but all the rest is positive.
Vicario is a solid GK.
Romero and VDV are the best pair of CBs in the league now.
Sarr is a real threat going forward, and Son is playing his best stuff.
Their goal was a hand ball, allowed by VAR
And Bentancur is back.
Sure Romero and VDV stalled around at the back some of the time, but Palace didn't try come and get the ball!

Anyone know what's wrong with Udogie?
Having to play Davies shows how thin the squad is...Emerson was definitely and upgrade.
