Spurs v Chelsea next week. What reception would you give Mauricio?
1. Chant his name
2. Applaud him
3. Stay silent
4. Boo him
5. swear and shout at him
Me personally I would clap him and that’s about it. Following it with big chants for big Ange. Hope we smash these mugs to pieces. 3-0 Spurs.

Stuffing them 6-0 and Pochettino getting the boot would be something I could only dream of.

In his first half season. Won the League, Super Cup and Club World Cup in his 3rd full season. How's Jose doing in his 3rd? Bottling it, I see...

As a Chelsea fan, personally I hope you boo the clueless overrated ugly chipmunk mug.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I bet he's delighted his club have supporters like you.... Nothing like giving the guy a chance
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nah furrrk him, he's a bottling mug who keeps costing us with his cowardly team selections. Can take the manager out of spurs but can't take the Spur out of the manager it seems.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well done on completely contradicting yourself

Not a Spurs fan, but 2 is what I'd consider common decency.
Might not have won the silverware everyone craved, but otherwise the bloke took Spurs to places the club had never been, oversaw some seasons of highly entertaining football, and had Spurs seated at the top end of English and European competition more regularly than at any other time in decades. All that, despite facing severe budget restrictions that in some seasons prevented him from meaningfully reinforcing the team.
Each to their own, but despite the (relatively) high stakes and the rivalry, recognising loyal servants is still the decent thing to do.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
LOL took Spurs to places the club have never been!!!! You do know Spurs won the Double, back to back FA Cups twice, 1st British team to win a European Trophy.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I know my football history, Sandy, and my post is factually correct.
You had never reached the final of the European Cup, Poch led you to one. But you knew that, of course.

He should get a good reception, or at least I hope he will. Either way, he understands the pantomime of football. He heard it last year when the entire stadium was singing his name so he knows he's appreciated. Whether fans show it publicly since his move to Chelsea is another thing. I don't understand the tribal nature of rivalry, particularly not in this instance because by all accounts, he wanted the Spurs job. We didn't give him it so what else was he supposed to do? A top job in the heart of London where he wanted to be after his first choice turned him down? Come on. Why does he have to show loyalty to a club that didn't want him back. Seriously? Some of you need to give your heads a wobble. That's an outrageous demand.
I loved Poch as everyone here knows. Do I, in hindsight, believe we should have taken him back? No, I wanted him back at the time but how can anyone want anything other than Ange right now? We're sitting pretty at the top of the league. Everything is going right for us. Why can't we enjoy that AND show appreciation for a manager that did so well for us, got us to a dream CL final and brought in the funds from repeated CL qualification to build the stadium we now have? We're now reaping the rewards of his labour. Worth remembering he also did all that without a home ground for 2 years.
Show some bloody respect!!!!
Actually don't bother. We all know he's well respected but if you really need to boo your pantomine villain if you want to act like a child. It doesn't change his achievements with us one little bit.

For what it's worth, before Sandy thinks I'm the one that voted for 'chanting his name'. I didn't. That would be weird. I voted for an applause.
