2023 the best year for Games?

Actually twilight Princess was the wolf one right?
I got about 3rd of the way through on that before my wii died, and never played it again. Is it good? Been a long time.

You are right and it’s brilliant although I prefer skyward

Bought Total War : Pharaoh and Rome II.

Enjoy both but have to say Rome is the better game.

And pre-ordered FM24

get on the Beta , been on it for about 2 weeks now.

Game engine has been improved and they have added quite a few new features surprisingly (this is the last one on this engine) they are moving to unity as of next year so this is the last of this generations type with it all set for massive changes next year.

Yeah I saw the news, I'm a unity developer so that does excite me. Will be brilliant for the series.

I don't like playing the beta, will just wait for full release. From what I've seen the engine looks great!

set pieces have been changed a fair bit, not did enough testing with it however to see if its actually effective or if the same exploits are still there.

In general felt most the AAA have been lacking. Indie games for me, unfortunately they won't get the recognition they deserve. Honestly if you haven't played Dave the Diver is incredible and Dredge is a gem.

Though will say Baldurs Gate is incredible

Alan Wake 2 started strong but I am not quite seeing the hype yet: cool story but not a fan of the super hand holdy and somewhat clunky detective mode........but I am solving crime with Max Payne so will give it a few more hours.

Other than that it's more disappointment with games like Starfield.......but will give it a couple of years - feel this one will mature like Cyber Punk

I've seen some youtubers play around with it, looks pretty decent and in-depth tbf
