Dier and Hojbjerg. I thought both did fantastic when they come on, and showed they're deserving of a bit more respect than they've been getting from a number of spurs fans. Neither are 'elite' or particularly well suited to our style of play, but we couldn't have asked more from them last night. Shame Dier was offside, his finish for that effort was superb.
Vicario. Easily our motm. Raced out to intercept countless times and some incredible point blank saves. No way deserved to be on the losing side, let alone conceding four goals....including three against one of the poorest strikers in the premier league.
Our overall character from the players who stayed on the pitch was excellent and they did themselves proud.
Chelsea - god they're laughably bad aren't they? Of course they won and won well in the end, but they are just not very good at all. Jackson doing the Ronaldo celebration after his hat trick which included two tap ins against 9 men was the funniest part of the night.
Scraping the barrel for positives maybe, but at least one or two things to take heart from.
Good bits from last night

Yep scored one, had one ruled out for a tight offside, playing them off the park with chelsea pressing shadows, then as we're applying more pressure with a corner Udogie decides to turn the game into one of those ones instead of a just keeping it to the football

you didn't dominante at all during that period ffs , the game went to total chaos and you had what, one decent chance prior to the penalty where Sterling Handballed it?. How could you watch that 15 minute spell and think Chelsea had any control over that game
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not sure if you were at the game but 15 mins after the kulu goal sky threw up a stat. Chelsea had 7 shots to spurs 0.

yeah and they were all awful efforts from outside the box, I don't remember a single good chance you had outside of the goals ruled out. like I said if you think that was a good controlling Chelsea performance as the game prior to the sending offs then good for you

So 7 shots and 2 dissallowed goals at 11 v 11 after the kulu goal.
I don’t think it was a good chelsea perfomance, you’re getting yourself all twisted up and emotional.

I've seen people accuse the other person of getting angry before but not emotional
you said it was a dominating performance prior to the sending off, I'm saying that it wasn't. I apologise for getting so choked up about it I guess

We were much the better side before the sending off after spurs started on fire first 10.
Don't think thats too crazy to say, we were getting in behind time and time again.

and not doing anything threatening with it. I'm not one to deny when a side is on top against us, United and Arsenal in the opening 30 minutes were much better than us for example. The game went to total chaos after that first Udogie challenge and it led to the game becoming much more transitional and Chelsea having a few half chances as a result.

Hojberg's pass behind Kulu when we were breaking led to the Udogie desperate lunge for the 2nd yellow. It was a really good opportunity that move which he screwed up. I used to rate Hojberg but stuff like that really annoys me.
Dier did OK, but where he falls down is when players run at him when he turns into a traffic cone. Noone needed to yesterday because there was so much space.
I liked the team spirit and effort when we went down to 9. Everyone worked hard. And Vicario looked like the best keeper in the world. Porro did pretty well. Royal did well although he should have taken a yellow in the move which led to the Udogie 2nd yellow.

Two goals = half chances? Mad. Also Jackson missed a one on one from 6 yards out lol

Chelsea fan in early rating the article...

i've rated it 5 star for ya to cancel it out

Thanks
If you thought Chelsea were good then that's good for you I guess. I think without our stupid red cards it could have been a cricket score for us, we'd have been very comfortable winners.
With 10 men we were creating at least as good chances as Chelsea. It was only in the final minutes once we ran out of legs with 9 players that the game turned.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
we didn't need to be good though..your side bottled it & lunged in with stupid tackles - you need to look at your shortcomings son...you were a fackin disgrace
