Derby County 3 - 0 Barnsley

DERBY COUNTY v BARNSLEY League 1 #14

Saturday 11th Nov 2023 1500

Are we being more convincing? Are we 'clicking'? Or have we been flattered by ordinary opposition?

Big game v Barnsley on Saturday. Big crowd expected as well wit Barnsley selling out their allocation. Should be tasty. And what a pity the Football Lads Alliance can't be there as they have to guard a monument from other people about 1.3km (0.807 miles) away......................

I'll keep this short 'cos they're is alot going on the world and I'm struggling to makes sense of it all but suffice to say, lets wear our poppies with pride and don't let them get hijacked by self-serving groups and remember.

Team news:- Wildsmith (GK), Forsyth, Hourihane (C), Cashin, Barkhuizen, Bird, Collins, Mendez-Laing, Smith, Nyambe, Nelson.

Subs:- Vickers (GK), Wilson, Bradley, Sibley, Fornah, Robinson, Weston.

Three hundred thousand people on a peace march might be another way to put it. I saw the footage and the difference in demographic and behaviour between the march and the "counter march" was striking. On the one side there were articulate women with their babies in arms making coherent comments about the plight of the Palestinian people. On the other a bunch of tanked up middle aged white thickos hurling stuff at the police and unable to articulate anything and who are an embarrassment to the nation.

On Warne, I have no personal issue with his bobble hat or anything else but I do know people who find it irritating and I wonder whether every player would find it motivating or endearing. I don't know though. I was just surprised he wasn't a bit more bullish. It wasn't actually a criticism, just an observation.

Do peace marchers carry banners calling for jihad, no peace marches I've ever seen, has carried anything like that before.

I think he's been subdue for a few weeks. Perhaps taken aback by the criticism or in light of it has toned it down.

I don't think there were three hundred thousand banners calling for jihad. I think you are using a small extremist minority to justify a ridiculous generalisation about a nation.

All the talk over the years has been integration, integration, that has failed miserably, different religions separated in what are becoming ghettos, now the talk is diversity, diversity, that too is failing. You only have to think back to the London tube bombings, the Manchester arena bombings, the London bridge attacks,
It's not going to get better, it's only going to get worse, the more that come here, the worse it will be.
There is nothing worse than religious Wars, you don't have look any further than Ireland's problems to see that.
I didn't say there were 300,000 banners but some were carrying jihad banners. I even saw one that read death to the west. You say only a small extremist minority, the problem is the extreist minority are the ones that use the guns and bombs and the majority have to do what they are told to do.
If you don't believe me go to Pakistan Iran or any Muslim country and try to protest there, and see what happens to you, or even try and hold a position of authority in the country if you're a Christian unlike here we have Muslim politicians, the mayor of London, Muslim.
When women are killed for wanted an education, don't you think there's something wrong, there are already areas of Britain which are under Sharia law, and police can even go in those areas even now, if they take over Britain look out.
