I thought celtic were fcking boring and shiete on Saturday

Ralston can actually gtf , like now !! Never once played a pass with a message on it
Gave Yang the ball to his left peg time and time again, which means he needs to check back and then Motherwell had doubled up on him by the time he gets squared up to the full back

Fcking piiish , and another ...kyogo !! ...he would be as well leaving because we aren't speculating with the ball anymore.
Nobody seems allowed to try anything, we've got Mcgregor who's only allowed to pass side ways now .

Completely curbing both those players game
Kyogo was an empty Jersey , Oh was much better again when he came on yet sits off next game ?! Some message that !

And Greg Taylor!! I'll forget all the times he gave it away. Can someone explain his defending for the goal ?

Game was rotten , crowd were rotten . I was actually bored watching us .

Thank fck Rangers bottled it Sunday !

This was as expected when we appointed him.

I have eyes and i remember what it was like last time, f...ing fantasists thinking he would have us competing in europe and playing nice football.

U would have to be deluded or doolally to ignore how we used to play and somehow think it would be better.

As for mcgregor, wasted jersey right now, offers nothing. Thats down to the manager

The worst part is we are stuck with this boring schite for at least 2 seasons.

He will either need to have a disaster this year or lose the league for 2 years.

Or we have 3 seasons of winning the league while our eyes bleed

Yup.

Pretty much the first thing he said post-match at the weekend was "We circulated it well ... 81% possession". AND yer point is?!!! We had 4 shots on target from said possession, and 2 of them were from the penalty spot FFS. It's also becoming a pretty familiar pattern. Yes, we're hamstrung a bit by injuries at the moment, but the main problem is BR's boring as fook footballing "philosophy" ... as any Leicester fan on here will agree. That and his inability to set up any team to defend, or generally compete aerially ... which combined with a predominantly muchkin squad means we have a problem!

BTW we're still in a comparatively good position domestically, but we can all see where this MIGHT be heading ... the direction we predicted before he was re-appointed.

The fallout from this penalty being given at Pittodrie is absolutely ridiculous

- It's a clear shirt pull
- VAR did its job properly
- VAR intervened for apen to be awarded at Celtic Park on Saturday for a short pull, very similar to what happened at Pittodrie, and fck all said
- Hearts and Rangers were awarded 10 penalties in the league last season, Aberdeen were awarded 9

I hope Robson gets hauled before the beaks for his inflammatory comments

"It just doesn’t look good for me another VAR decision going Rangers’ way in the 90th minute. It doesn’t look good."

Your player has blatantly pulled an opponent's jersey in the box to impede his progress.....it's a foul and therefore a penalty....when it happened and who it happened against has absolutely fck all to do with...take responsibility for your own players actions

The funniest part is definitely that Celtic also got a pen in 80 odd minutes for a shirt pull

Disappointed if Robson isn’t pulled up, if he isn’t would hope Rangers would make a point. As given cup final coming up it will have an impact on views leading up to games.

Was it Celtic CEO that said penalty to Rangers at their AGM last week, to then get two penalties and over 10 mins added on… Pretty sure Celtic have now had at least 5 pens this season in games that were tied nil nil

For me neither of them should be penalties

Mental that this is happening , pens for a tiny bit of Shirt pulling ?!

Not for me , contact is as far as I know still allowed in the game . How can you track your man with blockers going on ?? You can't. So teams will now start using this , and then it will bea big discussion on what constitutes a block if you're standing still etc

Are we going to eradicate contact completely?we may as well ....and ban heading whilst we're at it

Either that or go full the other way ...60s rules !

Shirt pulls have literally never been allowed. It’s not a new thing. It’s simply stopping fouls which previously wouldn’t have been seen in a crowd of bodies.

Agree contact is being removed from the game, and it’s a shame. But absolutely no change you can try and include shirt pulls in that, it’s quite obviously and simply cheating as it means the player isn’t in a position to challenge or make actual contact…..

Ridiculously too close to call offsides, farce of handball rules and getting the ball then the man challenges being given too easily are annoying but both shirt pulls are absolutely pens. It’s what players resort to when they’ve lost their man

You might enjoy American football more, mate.

Shirt pulling is as snidey as diving in my book but as ever it is the inconsistency of penalty that is the bigger issue. Not sure what we do about it right enough without even more VAR interventions.

Maybe corners should become more like field hockey with the defending team behind the goal line and the attacking team outside the box? Would be worth trying for a laugh if nothing else. Long corners, short corners?

There is such a thing as a smart foul.

Players will get away with shirt pulls if they aren't obvious...for example, if a player is jumping for a header and is having his shirt pulled down to stop him jumping as high, by a guy standing right next to him, that is still a foul, but I can understand how both the ref and even VAR could perhaps miss that.

In both examples at the weekend, there is clear daylight between the players, the attackers are running away from the defenders, and it is blatantly obvious that the defenders are hauling at the shirts to impede their opponents progress.....therefore, there is much more chance it will be picked up by the ref or VAR.

Scott Brown was the master of a smart foul, he could do things on the pitch and get away with them (perhaps not as much with VAR these days but who knows)...whereas idiots like Morelos would try similar stuff, it would be as plain as day that he was committing a foul as he was nowhere near as subtle as Brown, and he would get sent aff.

How subtle a foul is definitely plays a part when it comes to refs/VAR picking up on them, but no-one wants to hear an argument like that, it all has to be black or white these days, problem is it never is

There inconsistency that gets me is say there's a break on 4 on 3 say and everyone is racing up the pitch - if a retreating defender pulls back one of the attackers who would otherwise be away - even if he's the furthest back of the attacking 4 and not a likely recipient of the killer pass - and the ref clocks it he will play on but go back and book the offender. But see when all that happens in the box at a corner they somehow then invoke the unwritten 'ball was never going near him anyway' rule and nothing happens.

WTF is that about? They say they want it out the game but do fck all about it.
